Jackson was appointed chief White House correspondent by NBC. Jackson is married to Douglas Hitchner, and she is the mother of two girls.

Julie Banderas (born Julie Banderas) is an American TV news anchor as well as a reporter for Fox News Channel. She anchors America's News Headquarters, and Fox Report Weekend. In 2005, she started working for the Fox News Channel in general tasks. In the following years, she was promoted to an anchor on Fox Report Weekend. Julie Banderas reported several key topics in her professional career including Hurricane Dennis. The disappearance of US college student Natalee Hooley as well as Terri Schiavo's legal case. She received an award called the Outstanding Single Newscast Emmy Award (2004) for her coverage of the Republican National Convention.
